Reminiscence

it's been a long time since i blogged.
sorry about the super long delay.
guess i've lost the desire to blog.
i kinda keep things within me now.
i don't really know where to start...

let's start with pre-aussie.

dinner with jo and stir.
ate a hearty meal at crystal jade.
walked the whole of orchard. (:
sat down at nydc.
time.
spent.

boon & xh couldn't make it in the end.

nonetheless, it was good meeting up with all the girls. (:

dental in the morning.
outing with karen and joan in the afternoon.
lancome's make up class.
hurhur. funny.
hairdressing day with srico.
walking around town with kren and poanie.
dinner with the council.
the farewell dinner was great.
we had a whole room to ourselves, with great food and great company...
and a great ambience.

the day started with preparation for worship at serve.
God was great.
sared about the priviledge of being able to worship God and being able to commune with Him.
That's just so special, something to be treasured.
to keep your lovely face
this was my last day at serve.
but it wasn't my last time meeting up with them.
it felt strange leaving people i saw, interacted with everyday for the past 2 months.
i'll miss the joy. i'll miss the friendships. i'll miss the people.
had lunch with eunice later.
talked. spent a little time together.
she got me a flower (:
gerbera.
hope she's doing well. not too stressed out i hope.
had dinner at chomp chomp with gloria and jia.
great company. lots of catching up.

spent the day sewing stir her bag.
met up with jo later.
i really love being with jo.
the friendship between us has really been blessed by God.
it's friendships like those i have with jo, gloria, sara... etc that really show me what true friendship is.
it's like, no matter how far we seem to be, what different lives we live, somehow, somewhere, we'll always have that binding thing that brings us back together.
no matter how distant we are, we're always close.
gave tuition to the kids.
gee. i wonder how they are now.
kinda miss teaching them.
met esther in church to pass her her bag and said our goodbyes.
i miss esther.
stir, sorry i didn't send you off.
can't wait til we meet again.

rushed to st andrew's village after driving.
met up with all the lovely people.
pass them the little letters.
i miss karen lim mei xian.
i miss tabitha tan. peunice yee. mathew wan. poanie... sigh.
had lunch with sara and jamie.
i really wish i never drifted this far from jamie.
but that God that there's sara between us,
that keeps us somewhat still in contact.
miss visiting jamie's house and saying hi to all her family members. esp jack.
heard he's big now.

there's something about these 3 guys that makes me kinda miss them. don't really know why.

bid farewell to almost everyone.
almost.
lunch with brother bear at swensons.
ate til we couldn't eat.
i miss nelson goh kian thong.
i miss you a whole lot.
i've got a surprise for you.
it'll be delivered to you on the 11th of march.
spent the day packing.
eunice's group came over for tea.
sat around the dining table, drinking green tea and coke? (was it?)
and eating ice cream that was semi-solid.

alan picked us up.
kinda got lost finding our way to luke's place.
dinner with alan, luke, kor & isaac at this really nice place.
dinner cost a bomb.
and they refused to let me pay.
but dinner was superb.
this italian place.
with superb squidink pasta, superb sun dried tomatoes, superb portabello mushrooms, " seafood salad, " beef, " meat, " bread, " cakes...
that was a great dinner.
spend the rest of the night driving around singapore with alan, luk and kor.
i think, it was one of the best nights i ever had.
my happy bunch of friends.
who can drive.
and have borrowed cars from fathers.
and play good music.
except alan's crazy emo hits.
they dropped me at holland v.
and waited at 7-11 cause it was airconditioned!
while i leisurely took my own sweet time with karen and tabi.
we walked to st james, in hope of seeing jia. sigh
walked back.
met up with the guys.
sent karen and tabi to sjsm.
road trip!
drove to this bread shop in the middle of the night.
ate bread and bought soyabean milk.
sigh.
the night ended in such a high.
but it brought me so low.

the fateful day.
3 girls leaving on the same day but at different times.
bet some of them must have camped the whole day at the airport.
leong and the rest stayed overnight, no idea why though.
thank you.
everyone who was there.
as much as i told myself not to cry.
i realise that crying isn't something bad, isn't something to be ashamed off.
i miss you.

wiped my tears off when i passed customs.
tried not to cry anymore in fear of gaining attention from passerbys.
found my seat.
sat down and slept.
occasionally, a tear or two fell.

reach aussie.
in a rather foul mood.
unhappy, discontented, and overall very tired.
tried to sleep at the backseat.
but i teared my way home.
the day was horrendous.
teared myself to sleep that night.

but i got over it.
a day and it was over. no more crying.
no more feeling sad.
it's going to be part of life soon,
so wake up and smell the air.
embrace what's placed before you.
